What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Building Engineer position at Ultimate Staffing?
We are working with a with a commercial real estate company in need of a Lead Building Engineer in downtown Fort Worth! This position will Assist the Chief Building Engineer to ensure the property is salfe for tenants. This is not a management position.
Location: Downtown Fort Worth
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs to the buildings plumbing systems, lighting systems, replace electrical motors, and trouble shoot electrical problems within the facility.
- Lead shift operations and directs vendors and subcontractors.
- Regularly inspect tenant spaces, public areas, storerooms, utility rooms, basements, stairways, and grounds to ensure that the building cleanliness is adequate, and grounds are maintained.
- Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors.
- Perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a building engineering position - Commercial Real Estate
- Working knowledge of Angus or other work order system
- Experience reading and interpreting documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Knowledge of Trane HVAC system

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
