What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical billing position at Ultimate Staffing?
Our client is looking for medical billing and collection specialists to join their growing team. They provide a variety of back office shared services for a large network of healthcare practices allowing for increased patient satisfaction and operations efficiency.
Ideal candidate has a service oriented mindset who is detailed oriented with excellent follow up skills. Must have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated billing and collections experience in a high volume environment.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the insurance billing process between the medical offices, insurance companies, and third party payers
- Contacting insurance companies to collect on outstanding balances
- File appeals and supporting documentation as needed to ensure practices get reimbursed for services rendered
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with medical collections, back end A / R, claim reviews, filing appeals
- EHR / EMR working knowledge - NextGen major plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High School Diploma
