Job Description
Position Title: Director of Engineering
Reporting to: Chief Operator Officer
Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire
Salary: $145,000 - $160,000 commensurate with experience
Overview:
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an innovative Director of Engineering to join an international company dedicated to delivering top-notch products and services to their clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of all engineering projects, ensuring they align with the company's goals and objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and excellent leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Develop project timelines, resource plans, and budget estimate
- Reviewing pricing and verification of all Engineering Change Orders
- Provide oversight of international operations including training for modalities, workload assignments, and ensure accuracy of project scope and deliverables
- Review of shop drawings, manufacturing drawings, and installation drawings
- Provide quarterly review of operations to ensure assets achieve maximum efficiencies
- Management & development of pre-sale materials
- Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial project reviews and P&L Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10 years of experience in engineering within design/architecture including structural and mechanical design
- Thorough understanding of Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects
- Approximately 5% travel to Houston will be required
