Ultimate Staffing has partnered with a well known service company in Mountain View, CA.
We're hiring a FTE/Permanente Spanish Bilingual HRBP (Human Resource Business Partner)
Location: Mountain View, CA (Hybrid) 2 days work from home & 3 days in field visiting different offices in the Bay Area.
Territory: SF Metro, South Bay, and East Bay.
$100-140K 401k, PTO, and more!
Top Must Haves:
The candidate MUST BE bilingual (Spanish)
Experienced in employee/labor relations, and managing a unionized workforce.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and compliance issues in HR and hiring.
Experience in Labor relations and managing complex employee relations matters.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Paycom) or similar systems
Typical day: Meet with managers, heavy employee relations, performance management, making recommendations, etc. No recruiting.
This position has room for growth and can grow into the Director of Labor Relations.
Duties:
- Partner with managers and employees to facilitate positive interactions and effective outcomes for matters including performance coaching, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and communications. Provide strategic employee relations support, business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization.
- Proactively assess team and manager developmental needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Triage employee relations casework identifies potential solutions to address different case types and actions appropriately using guidelines.
- Conduct investigations for workplace issues in a timely manner applying appropriate investigation plan, interviewing techniques with supporting documentation and outcome conclusion summary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or 5-7 years as a Human Resources Manager preferred.
- PHR or SPHR-CP certification preferred.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and compliance issues in HR and hiring.
- Experience in Labor relations and managing complex employee relations matters.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Paycom) or similar systems.
- Fluency in Spanish as a second language required.
- Experience working with a diverse workforce.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position as it requires face-to-face interaction.
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in drafting and updating professional documentation and policies.
- Attention to detail (grammar, spelling, etc.)
- Can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious, about assignments and deadlines.
- Must be flexible with schedule when needed or requested by Supervisor.
- Ability to always exercise confidentiality.
