Job Description
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a client in Monroe County IL.. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a design team, using CAD software, building prototypes, and developing control systems for production.
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Monroe County/St. Clair County, IL
Status: Direct Hire
Schedule: Mon- Fri, Days
Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000, negotiable based on experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design medical products such as case carts, tables, warmers, sinks, and stretchers.
- Create design sketches, layouts, and plans with the design team.
- Use CAD software for preliminary and detailed drawings.
- Produce specifications and select raw materials and components.
- Build and test product models and prototypes.
- Analyze test data and compare with similar designs.
- Develop control systems and monitor production.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Proficiency with CAD software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
