Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-time
Pay: $20-$21/hr (Temp) | $45,000/year (Perm)
Job Overview:
A local organization is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to manage the permitting process within Palm Beach County. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and clerical skills, be a fast learner, and have local knowledge of Palm Beach County, including its municipalities and permitting processes.
The Administrative Assistant will support the Director of Operations and play a key role in coordinating permits with local municipalities, districts, and county departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the permitting process for various projects in Palm Beach County.
- Process permit applications and ensure compliance with local requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with municipalities, county departments, and clients.
- Serve as a liaison between project teams and local government bodies.
- Assist in managing official records, files, insurance certificates, and data.
- Act as the back-up to the Director of Operations when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative and clerical skills.
- Familiarity with web-based databases such as WordPress is a plus.
- Knowledge of Palm Beach County locations and municipalities (Jupiter, North to South Boca, Central Lake Worth) is required.
- Experience in project coordination, permitting, or related fields.
- Ability to communicate effectively with teams and local officials.
- Interest in a creative field or project-based work is preferred but not required.

Schedule:
