Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Administrator to oversee the procurement operation for our company. In this position, you coordinate with every department to determine what they need in terms of supplies, equipment, and raw materials. You research vendors to get the best price, submit purchase orders to their distribution center, and handle the invoicing process. This requires both vendor management and data entry skills, as you must closely track every order and payment. Our ideal applicant has a bachelor's degree in business and several years of supply chain experience. You should also be comfortable using an SAP ERP system to track your operations.
Purchasing Administrator Duties and Responsibilities
Collect order requests from other departments
Research vendors and negotiate the best price
Submit purchase orders
Reconcile invoices
Log all orders and payments
Purchasing Administrator Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business preferred or related experience
Supply chain management experience
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency with SAP ERP and standard office software
- Pay: $23-$26/hr
