Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 annually DOE
Location: Fairview Heights, Illinois area
Status: Direct Hire
Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee all activities of the quality assurance department, ensuring that our products meet or exceed quality standards and specifications. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and empower our dynamic team of quality assurance professionals.
- Develop and implement robust processes to uphold product quality, functionality, and reliability.
- Set and enforce stringent quality standards and parameters for our diverse range of products.
- Champion comprehensive product testing initiatives and actively participate in testing processes.
- Swiftly identify and address any issues, bugs, or defects, orchestrating effective solutions.
- Harness client and customer feedback to continuously refine and enhance product quality.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
- Experience with risk management methodologies (e.g., FMEA) and statistical analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials used in medical device production.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. (preferred)
- Three to five years of hands-on experience in a related field, including supervisory roles.
