The Ultra manufacturing function is responsible for the manufacture, integration and test of a wide range of products and systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and analysis of analog and digital electric assemblies.
- Acceptance testing of electronic assemblies using dedicated test fixtures, oscilloscopes, DMMs, functional generators and other misc. electrical equipment.
- Operating environmental testing equipment such as vibration tables and thermal chambers.
- Programming of microcontrollers using pre-written code.
- Calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and dedicated fixtures.
- Some assembly of new and repair product.
- Upkeep and control of documentation paperwork for new and repair product.
- Organization and maintenance of issued workbench and equipment.
- Misc. electronics manufacturing tasks.
Minimum requirements:
- Detailed understanding of circuit component functionality, both analog and digital.
- Detailed understanding of circuit theory.
- Ability to use and manipulate electronic analysis equipment, such as oscilloscopes and digital multi-meters.
- Ability to read and trace circuit functions through a set of wiring schematics.
- Controlled hand dexterity for working with tweezers, soldering irons and tiny components.
- Ability to work with assembly personnel in a cooperative, team manner.
- Ability to professionally handle critical feedback from quality inspectors and management.
- Ability to pass minimum adjusted vision testing, background check, and drug screen.
- Dedication to quality and precision of work.
- 5 years experience working in electronic circuit board assembly.
- 5 years experience hand soldering electronics.
Recommended, but not required:
- Electrical Engineering Technician (EET) degree, or Electrical Engineering (EE) degree.
- General understanding of programming codes such as C .
