IT Business Analyst

Ultradent, the global name in oral health is seeking a Business Analyst Labeling Specialist to join Ultradent's IT team. The Business Analyst Labeling Specialist functions to provide support, analysis, label design, Development, and maintenance for the current and future labeling solution and integration needs of Ultradent. The position will primarily focus on the enterprise labeling needs of the company and applicants should be versed in the Nicelabel Suite, barcode standards, and label printers. The ability to manage solution development will be needed to meet the labeling goals of the company.
Job Duties:

• Develop labeling solutions using current NiceLabel suite

• Develop labeling solutions using the current label Zebra printers

• Design and develop labels with barcodes that adhere to barcode standards and UDI standards

• Create data driven templates and retrieving data from Oracle, Agile or other similar databases

• Analyze several lines of barcode data and structure to determine the appropriate variables and template solutions

• Develop web printing interfaces with custom printing logics

• Data retrieval from database

• Evaluate issues to be resolved using logical problem solving techniques and create/obtain relevant technical information to solve problems

• Responsible for the process of technical documentation for development

• Work in conjunction with manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, product teams, and regulatory to bring labeling solutions

• Responsible for determining the best testing and validation methods by working with the validation team

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Nicelabel Products

• NiceForm

• Nicelabel Pro

• Nicelabel Solution Architect

• Nicelabel Web Printing

• Nicelabel Control Center

• Nicelabel Automation

• Knowledge of programming language Python or VBScript

• Experience in application development, testing, and validation

• Experience with Zebra printers

• Knowledge of UDI requirements

• Knowledge of GS1 barcode standards

• Basic knowledge of XML structure

• Knowledge of Oracle and MSSQL queries and data structures

• Knowledge of data driven barcodes using templates

• Understanding of folder structures and file references

• Knowledge of web storage

Education/Certification:

• A degree from a technical college, an associate's or bachelor's degree from a college or university in computer science or equivalent relevant experience is the minimum requirement for this position.

• A combination of education and technical, relevant experience can be used to satisfy this education requirement.

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Foreign language is plus
