Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Clinician in Worcester.
The Motivating Youth Recovery (MYR) program is an intensive detox and stabilization program for adolescents struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. In this inpatient program our staff work as an integrated team to support youth as they work toward recovery. This program is staffed 24/7.
Clinicians at MYR conduct client evaluations, write treatment plans, document progress of goals and objectives in progress notes and complete utilization reviews. They meet with clients for individual counseling to assist in attaining treatment goals, provide families with family therapy and support and facilitate therapeutic groups using standard group techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conducts client evaluations including crisis evaluation, bio-psychosocial assessment, diagnostic formulation, and initial treatment recommendations.
- Facilitates psycho-ed and rehabilitation groups using standard group techniques. Meet with clients for individual counseling to assist in attaining treatment goals. Provide families with family therapy.
- Write treatment plans including client’s strengths with behaviorally based goals and objectives with input of appropriate family members. Document progress of goals and objectives in progress notes.
- Obtains initial and subsequent insurance authorizations, as needed.
- Is an active participant in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Recognizes and seeks consultation as needed. Develops an individual training/supervision plan to enhance professional growth.
- Refers clients to appropriate resources within and outside CHL.
- Follows all policies and procedures of the agency.
- Work assigned hours, which may include rotation of weekends and evening hours.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
- Grade C12: Clinician III: Master’s degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Grade C16: Clinician IV: Master’s degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Current valid US-issued driver’s license and ability to provide registered, insured and inspected automobile for work related purposes, including transporting clients in your own vehicle.
