Our client in the textile industry is seeking an Interim Plant Manager to manage all aspects of the manufacturing sites and will be responsible for the overall financial performance, strategic positioning, and organizational development.
We are seeking a Plant General Manager (GM) who has successfully grown a manufacturing business to drive the next stage of growth. The GM will manage a $20M, 100 employee, multi location manufacturing business and report directly to the CEO.
This is a 1099 interim position for 3-4 months with the possibility of leading to a permanent W2 role. The opportunity is onsite in Philadelphia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all facets of the business, determining and guiding strategic direction.
- Maximize the performance of the management team and workforce while adhering to the company's cultural values and service philosophy.

- Develop, retain, and attract the talent needed to achieve company growth objectives and enhance long-term shareholder value.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities in partnership with the Group CEO and private equity group.
Specific Duties:
- Execute the company's strategy to exceed financial performance targets (including EBITDA).
- Make strategic decisions reflecting market, customer, and economic priorities.
- Identify new market or product opportunities contributing to revenue and EBITDA goals.
- Lead the implementation of continuous improvement and standard business processes.
- Develop and build a strong management team across the organization.
- Communicate effectively with the board, management, shareholders, lenders, customers, suppliers, and employees.
- Maximize profitability through revenue growth and cost improvements.
- Gain an intimate knowledge of the company’s products, operations, customers, and markets.
Candidate Experience and Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing with demonstrated achievement in growing revenue and EBITDA.
- Prior full P&L responsibility for a multi-site manufacturing business.
- Track record of organically driven revenue and EBITDA growth through operational excellence, product development, and innovation.
- Familiarity with financials, including managing income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and other financial metrics with the help of a CFO.
- Ability to scale an organization while building high-performing teams.
Education:
- An undergraduate degree is required. A graduate degree in business administration or engineering is considered a plus.
Starts: Immediately
Duration: 3-4 months, with possibility of full time permanent employment
Time Commitment: full time 5 days a week

Expected Pay Rate: $100 - $150 per hour
