There are RN Clinical Nurse II positions with the UNC GI Procedures unit at the Main Hospital and at the Meadowmont location.
These opportunities are eligible for up to $20K with 4 year work commitment and up to $10K relocation depending on distance.
UNC Medical Center main hospital description: Want to work hard and be part of a great team of nurses? If so, then GI Procedures may be the perfect place for you! The GI Procedures Unit is an outpatient procedural unit located within the main hospital and is seeking collaborative nurses with great work ethic! The unit has 7 prep bays, along with 8 PACU bays and 5 procedure rooms, with two of those dedicated to advanced procedures. Nurses in the department work M-F, either 8a-4:30p 5 days a week, or 7a-5:30p 4 days a week. Call is rotated among staff and is limited to 8a-4:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays only. UNC Medical Center Meadowmont description: UNC GI Meadowmont is a fast-paced procedural unit located in Chapel Hill. Here at UNC’s first outpatient endoscopy unit, there is an enormous amount of opportunities for medical professionals to grow, learn and develop into GI experts. Currently we operate 3 procedural rooms daily; with an average case load of 12-13 per room. The GI Meadowmont leadership and staff pride ourselves on teamwork. We have cultivated an environment where team camaraderie and peer support translates to a healthy and strong work culture.
Our hours of operation are Monday- Friday from 8-430pm. If you are seeking day shift hours and no call, GI Meadowmont may be the place for you! Our first cases start at 8 am and we schedule our last case at 3:30 pm. Each team member is required to take 2 late shifts per week, but don’t worry we typically leave before 5:30 pm, even if we go beyond our scheduled cut off time. Another great benefit of working here is our free onsite parking!
