Please note that the designated work location is subject to change based on the unit’s business needs.The Clinical Research Support Office (CRSO) is the central administrative office within the SOM supporting all human subjects research studies across the school. The CRSO's vision is to create a rigorous, efficient and productive clinical research environment across the SOM and UNC Health by promoting best practices, standardizing processes, and enhancing professional development for excellence in all aspects of clinical research. The CRSO's overall responsibilities are to develop data and analytic tools to empower and inform clinical research teams; support research teams in developing regulatory strategies and fulfilling regulatory requirements; standardize and support pre- and post-award financial management of research studies; and support the development, training, and retention of research personnel. The CRSO will coordinate and assist in managing a comprehensive human subjects research support and training program that will support the various research projects across a full spectrum of disciplines including: 40 core facilities, 57 interdisciplinary centers, institutes and programs, 34 NIH training programs, 265 active US patents, and 150 startup companies. This Data Solutions Analyst position will serve as a team member in CRSO Data Services division, which aims to provide high-quality, trustworthy data, tools, and analytic services at each point in the study lifecycle to improve study recruitment, effect regulatory compliance, and enable meaningful innovation in methods and processes while decreasing administrative burde.The Data Solutions Analyst will provide support to human subject research teams and departments for data services offered by the School of Medicine CRSO. This will include providing consultation services to understand data collection needs, identify appropriate systems to be used, and assisting the construction of forms or usage of tools offered by the CRSO. This position will also provide support for documenting data reporting services offered by the CRSO as well as training on utilizing services provided. This position will interface with workgroup teams, project management staff, governance committees, and others on a regular basis. This position will also be responsible for attending webinars and conference calls, as well as offering consultations, recommendations, and basic training to internal and external faculty and other stakeholders

Salary : $51,500 - $80,000
