What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Commerce Strategy Analyst position at Unclaimed Baggage?

This E-commerce Strategy Analyst will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Strategic Initiatives to grow the E-commerce channel of Unclaimed Baggage. While Unclaimed Baggage has been around for over 50 years, the E-commerce channel is only two years old and is growing quickly. In this role, you will be a utility player working to perform in-depth analysis on traffic, inventory, and sales to uncover insights that inform strategy as well as driving key change initiatives internally that will enable growth. This is a great opportunity for an analytically-minded self-starter to have a clear impact on the future growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform analyses to uncover and build an understanding of key business problems, including basic statistical analysis

Succinctly present data in a compelling manner that clearly informs decision making

Serve as a thought partner to leadership to rethink and refine operations and strategy

Work with others in the organization to develop and execute project plans

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with solid academic achievement

1 years of relevant professional experience

Good business acumen to synthesize data from across the organization

Advanced Excel skills or similar proficiency with another database/analytical tool

Quantitative and general problem-solving skills

A high degree of motivation, flexibility, and creativity

Strong written and verbal communication skills as it relates to both senior leadership and peers

Excellent interpersonal skills with a sense of humor, personal integrity, and appreciation for the power of teamwork

Unclaimed Baggage Center is the only company in the United States that buys and sells the lost luggage of airlines that is never reunited to its owners.
