Purpose of Role
This position is responsible for UA store application supporting in Korea; seek out defects, failures and inefficacies within retail system, and develop new best practices to create digital solutions to improve productivity and operation efficiency.
Your Impact
- Optimization and enhancement on in-store systems and integrated applications
- Capability to solving all kinds of store IT issues
- Be responsible for in-store systems monitoring, analyzing, tuning and optimizing based on operational procedure
- Evaluate digital technologies & Omni Channel, aligned with business requirement and market requirement
- Capability to engage with the complete lifecycle of POS/CRM & Digital application development, including designing, implementation, testing, maintenance and technical support
- Involvement on IT projects, IT initiatives and new demands to get it completed on time with high quality
- Support CORE and retail reporting system (SSRS/Report Generator) and FMS interface
- Plan and vendor management for New Store Opening and request new customer setup to FMS/Retail team
- Support customer registration setup for new online marketplace in FMS
- Manage system integration and data flow for marketplace
- DW(SFCC) system issue troubleshooting and function enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 3 - 5 years’ IT experience in supporting of store application in retail industry
- Ability to identify solutions based on new technology
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Rich experience in supporting & developing of Retail store equipment (e.g. POS terminal, barcode printer, handheld terminals and PC peripheral devices) and POS system (i.e. Micros POS)
- Strong problem solving, priority setting, collaboration and communication skills. Good organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiar with Omni Channel integrate across multiple platforms such as OMS/CRM/KakaoTalk relevant platform (Mobile payment etc.)
- Strong global communication and solid vendor management skills
