The Wine & Spirits Clerk is responsible to assist in the growth of the Cub Wine & Spirits / Liquor
brand by delivering world class customer service, non-debatable store standards and alcohol safety.
In partnership with store leadership, the Wine & Spirits Clerk assists with providing friendly,
prompt, courteous service and creating a positive shopping experience for customers and the
community. In addition, the Wine & Spirits Clerk contributes to providing a fun and inspiring
working environment for co-workers and customers. The Wine & Spirits Clerk is responsible to be
knowledgeable and adhere to all state and local regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Maintain and build customer relations and encourage return business
- Stocks all products
- Cashiers
- Assists with receiving, storing, and inventorying of products
- General cleaning of shelves and other areas of the store
- Practice, promote, and instill appropriate customer service as well as work ethic
- Provide knowledge and expertise on the current items on promotion
- Knows all laws and regulations pertaining to liquor sales and laws pertaining to
- Able to handle special orders and assist with customer pick-up
- Support Ecommerce platform
Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Cashier and stocking experience preferred
- Demonstrate an interest at continuously keeping updated and abreast of the latest trends and
- Strong organizational, time management, listening, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Possess strong analytical and problems solving skills and be experienced in taking initiative and
- Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels of the company and in the business
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Physical Environment:
- Working conditions consist of a temperature-controlled store environment.
- Ability to frequently reach, lift, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk and move rapidly, bend, stoop, twist and turn
- Exposure to temperatures as low as approximately 38 degrees Fahrenheit while handling
