What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist position at Unifi?
As the Marketing Specialist your primary responsibilities are to ensure the development and execution of marketing materials and related activities. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications and will work closely with others in the Marketing Department, Brand and Direct Sales, and the Global Innovation Team.
How you will play an integral role?
- Support Marketing Team with commercialization plans, including development of sales materials, promotional products, sales training, consumer analytics, and marketing plans.
- Manage Texbase database with focus on artwork approval, hangtag inventory, shipments, customs documentation, and contracts.
- Manage sample and swag closest system to ensure accurate inventory records of garments while ordering and adding necessary samples as requested.
- Manage physical marketing requests including hangtags, swag through inventory management, shipping, and ordering of marketing materials or supplies.
- Support trademark licensing due diligence process through coordination with the legal department.
- Support Marketing Product Manager with tradeshow needs. May include the planning and logistics for tradeshows, preparation, registration, event support, and shipping of products and marketing materials to events or tradeshows.
- Merchandises innovation center, Reidsville and Madison plant welcome centers, tradeshow product displays, and corporate headquarters.
- Support product launches as needed, including market research, brainstorming, and copy creation.
Are you qualified for the position?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Textiles preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Analytical, with creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop new strategies and plans to promote UNIFI®’s brands
- Sound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with a keen ability to manage competing priorities
- High energy level, strong listener, relationship builder
- Self-starter and self-directed
- Strong attention to details
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
