Stockroom Clerk
UniFirst, a leading provider in the garment and facility services industry, is looking for dedicated individuals to join our growing Production Team.
As a Stockroom Clerk you will play a key part in UniFirst’s mission to always deliver the best products & service to our valued customers. You will be responsible for the full cycle of stockroom operations, from receiving and stocking inventory to processing orders, inspecting garments, sewing emblems, and maintaining stockroom files.
No prior experience is required to become a Stockroom Clerk. At UniFirst, we are dedicated to nurturing your talents and helping you reach your full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and stock inventory.
- Process and fulfill orders for new and current customers.
- Inspect garments for quality.
- Sew emblems & perform alterations on garments as needed.
- Oversee stockroom paperwork and recordkeeping.
- Maintain a clean & organized stockroom.
- Adhere to safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
- Assist with various tasks as assigned by department leadership.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- A high school education and/or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight, volume, and distance.
- Ability to work to measurable standards of performance specific to job area.
