Our in-house Creative and Content Studio is responsible for producing a wide range of content, with an increasing focus on video first assets and activations. We are looking for a deadline-driven, creative mind who is highly collaborative. The ideal candidate has an understanding of how marketing campaigns work, especially in the retail sector, to support our consumer messaging and storytelling.
In this role, you will work directly with the Art Director and Creative Director on a wide variety of image campaigns, branding, packaging, and graphic design projects. The Senior Graphic Designer will help in the overall ideation and execution of marketing briefs. Helping keep the Hourglass brand identity across all communication and consumer touchpoints you will ensure that the brand maintains a clear and consistent visual representation, tone of voice, and the aesthetic reflects its brand mission and pillars while meeting business objectives.
You will report to the Art Director, and work closely with the Creative Director among other senior marketing team members. This position requires an inventive and collaborative design forward mentality. A keen eye for photography, design, and typography, and be familiar with current design trends and best practices.

WHAT YOU DO
Concept & execute design and branding elements for digital, mobile, social, e-commerce, in-store, OOH, video, print and packaging
Support Art Director on all projects from concept to post-production, including but not limited to mood boards, casting, on-set art direction, and retouching mark-ups.
Work with Sr. Creative Leadership to refine concept work across all creative elements including photo, and video direction, and graphic design.
Translate business and marketing objectives in to designs that are clear, compelling, and easy to understand.
Bring forward the most innovative creative techniques, design trends, top talent, and current industry trends and innovations across all relevant industries - driving vision and insights to creative ideation, strategy, and production planning.
Edit and add typography to video content for social and digital advertising.
Prepare, package, and spec files for print projects with correct dimensions, die-lines, and resolution.
Ensure that all projects are within deadline.

Experience in video including editing, motion graphics / animation, color direction, etc.
An exceptional portfolio of work showcasing video, web, mobile, application solution.
Ability to take direction from Art Directors and Marketing Team and provide multiple solutions
Ability to concept design solutions with limited direction.
Ability to prioritize with tight deadlines and follow through.
Knowledge of social as well as experience working with various online ad design specs and media requirements.
Knowledge of best practices for the Web with a particular focus on beauty retail and editorial.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that combine branding and commerce.
In-depth knowledge of appropriate usage of the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, Bridge, image optimization for web, and other web authoring / motion graphic tools.
Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time
The expected base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 per year. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
