Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for generating and driving the Demand Forecast, incorporating with Business Projection coming from the sales department & data analysis. A demand planner’s expertise in demand planning, data analysis, and forecasting will be essential in meeting customer demands, minimizing costs, and maximizing profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, customer behavior, and other relevant factors to forecast future demand for products or services. This involves using statistical models, ERP System (EPICOR), and collaborating with sales, supply chain, and other teams to gather information and insights.
- Developing and maintaining optimal inventory levels by considering factors such as lead times, production capacities, stockouts, and order patterns.
- Optimize inventory levels to achieve a balance between inventory costs and service levels.
- Monitoring and evaluating forecast accuracy, inventory levels, service levels, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of demand planning activities.
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets related to sales, customer behavior, and market trends. Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel and ERP systems is essential for managing and interpreting data effectively.
- Generate reports and present findings to management, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Familiarity with supply chain concepts, processes, and best practices.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a cross functional work environment.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Work Environment:
Office / Manufacturing environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
This is an office-based position that requires walking, sitting, standing, bending, driving, reading, seeing, hearing, speaking, concentrating, and communicating.
Salary : $53,200 - $67,300
