Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients' wounds, including the type, size, and severity
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on patients' specific needs
- Cleanse and dress wounds using appropriate techniques and materials
- Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and self-care measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes
- Adhere to hospital or home care standards and protocols for infection control and safety
- Perform tasks such as tube feeding, IV insertion, and case management as required
Experience:
