Position Title : Loan Operations Assistant / nCino Administrator
Reports To : Credit Administration Officer
Status : Hourly; Non-Exempt
Position Summary : Assist in all loan operations functions including booking loans, assisting with payments and payoffs, loan maintenance, etc.
Assist in post-closing booking and document review. Assist with administration of consumer loan underwriting platform. Position is primarily focused on ensuring data integrity and quality of loan information.
Maintain exceptional customer relations, provide timely assistance, and promote Bank products and services whenever possible.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties :
- Maintain a high level of customer service through proactive communication with internal customers, i.e. loan officers, assistants, and other team members.
- Work in a team environment in an effort to achieve overall bank goals and objectives.
- Assist customers and others over the phone with loan related questions.
- Provide loan payoff requests to customers, dealerships, and title companies.
- Perform maintenance on closed loans such as properly preparing and submitting collateral release documents to the required recording agencies, removing tracking items from loan systems, and sending the paid note to customer.
- Perform flood certification orders, provide appraisal notices, and deliver appraisals to customers as part of the real estate loan process.
- Assist with consumer loan applications, credit report orders, and nCino Administration.
- Perform loan maintenance on the core system, posts payments and payoffs to loans as requested.
- Assist with booking loans and reviewing that loans are booked accurately on the core system as requested.
- Provide support to other team members as assigned by the Department Head.
- Periodic travel may be required for committee meetings and training, as applicable.
- Understand Federal, State and Union State Bank rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as may be required or assigned.
Supervisor Responsibilities : N / A
Education and Experience Requirements : High school graduate or equivalent required. Previous loan processing or loan administration experience preferred.
Previous customer services experience required. Understands Federal, State and Union State banking rules and regulations.
Bank related courses strongly recommended.
Specific Skills Required : Ability to communicate, written and verbal, effectively with people both internally and externally.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to identify and resolve problems.
Organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with all levels within the organization. Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Able to handle confidential information and positively represent the company.
Competencies : Communication, problem solving, strategic thinking, teamwork, and customer service.
System Accesses : Fiserv Precision, LaserPro, Baker Hill, nCino, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
Equipment Used : Office equipment which includes computer, multi-line phone system, multi-function unit, image scanner, etc.
Working Conditions : Work is performed in an office environment. Prolonged (90%) sitting and periodic (less than 10% of the time) physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry or push heavy objects or materials weighing up to 50 pounds;
Constant and repetitive use of arms and hands below shoulder level for computer usage; This position requires the individual to perform normal office activities including, but not limited to, lifting, filing and retrieving, operating office equipment, etc.
Travel between locations may be required.
