Drives 26 foot long Box Truck to customers transporting materials to and from specified destinations.
Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck, dolly, and pallet jacks.
Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment.
Delivers and stacks merchandise on customers’ premises and obtains receipt for goods.
Verifies load against shipping papers.
Drives truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in area.
Maintains truck log according to State, Federal and Company regulations.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water on a weekly basis, every Monday. Complete the “Drivers Checklist” and submit to the Department manager.
From time to time, the driver may also remain in the warehouse to perform duties as directed by management.
Pick-ups and returns empty pallets back to Company.

Person must be comfortable delivering to prisons, correctional facilities and having limited contact with Inmates
