MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year nursing case assistant experience.

1. Perform routine and special nursing procedures as delegated by the professional registered nurse.
2. Provide comfort, support, and safety measures appropriate to the ages of patients served
3. Provide and assists in meeting the patient's care needs appropriate to the ages of patients served.
4. Organizes time to complete assignments according to specifically assigned responsibilities.
5. Positions, mobilizes, and transports patients according to designated plan of care and direction from the professional registered nurse or designee appropriate to the ages of patients served.
6. Follows department guidelines in the cleaning and disinfection of furniture/equipment.
7. Maintains general cleanliness of unit and restocks appropriately.
8. Reports to Department Director/designee and equipment malfunctions that could affect the standard of care or legal implications
9. Maintains department's sterilization records.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
