JUNIOR WMS Support
Based within the Systems department, you will work closely with a broad range of internal and external teams, providing support and creative solutions to assist teams across all facilities. POSITION SUMMARY:
The WMS Analyst will play an integral part in the Distribution team. This role will monitor the WMS (Warehouse Management System) performance, proactively look at areas for improvement, and lead all issue resolution. They will work with the IT team to manage data flow within the WMS. WMS Analyst is responsible for overall Warehouse Management System (WMS) support to the operations team to ensure that the WMS and subsystems deliver the performance and functionality necessary for the DC operations team. The candidate is a crucial liaison critical to the DC management and local teams to analyze and evaluate WMS functionality to meet business needs. Responsible for ensuring that the business requirements are identified and achieved through proper functional design, configuration, and testing.
Job Responsibilities:
· Coaches users to understand the WMS systems
· Acts as the first line of support for issue resolution
· Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, identify root causes and escalate as necessary
· Supports DC Operations to identify process changes, support business objectives, and drive efficiency
· Serve as WMS business super user in configuration, troubleshooting, and future developments
· Performs enhancement testing for all distribution centers
· Creates documentation of new processes or procedures; testing documentation; specifications or proposals; training materials
· Supports User Acceptance Testing
· Works with the Business Analyst team and WMS Developers as needed
· Provides hardware maintenance for printers and other devices, maintains an inventory of all devices, works with Zebra for service as needed
· Experience with other WMS software is ideal (High Jump, Manhattan, SAP EWM)
Qualifications
Qualifications:
*MUST HAVE WMS or Warehouse Operations Experience*
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of work experience
- Experience implementing WMS Systems (SAP eWM, Oracle, High Jump, NetSuite, Manhattan)
- Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience supporting a Distribution Center running the WMS platforms
- Experience utilizing reporting tools
- Ability to create routine reports and system documentation
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated team skill
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical users
- Proficiency with databases and SQL (plus)
- CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED OR DESIRED: WMS or Oracle RMS ERP-related training or certification desired
- Some domestic travel required
