We are seeking a Technology Solutions Architect to join our corporate team in Herndon, VA and participate in our exploding growth of our Technology and Engineering capabilities in support of our National Security and Health customers. We focus on delivering innovation through Application Development, Data and Advanced Analytics, AI/ML and Cyber Security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technology Solutions Architect serves as the technical lead for executing the relevant activities within the solutioning process in support of Business Development, Capture and Proposal teams. Responsible for identifying, tailoring, and integrating technical capabilities and innovations to address customer needs, expectations, and requirements to help shape acquisitions, competitively position Unissant and contribute to winning proposals.
This position will:
- Leverage domain expertise, develop comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and lead the development of a complete and highest-rated technical solution and price competitive proposal.
- Identify technical resources needed to support Pre-B&P, Capture and B&P activities.
- Participate in development of solutions and proposals to unusually complex problems which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation to craft unique solutions to respond to customer challenges.
- Lead or support the development of the Technical Solution including our Approach, Graphics, and Roadmap with differentiated strengths, tailoring Unissant's capabilities to the customer problem set.
- Support capture with customer meetings by presenting Unissant capabilities, services and solutions, and shape a deal toward Unissant's strengths.
- Support corporate teaming and direct technical and proposal volumes through final submission with specific focus on growth and capture initiatives within the organization.
- Collaborate with subject and technical matter experts, functional leads, and Program Managers with an ability to translate technical information into proposal submissions.
Work Experience:
- Must have at least 15 years of experience in delivering innovative solutions for the Federal Government, preferably in the National Security or Healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated expertise providing innovative digital solutions both on premises and on cloud.
- Experience winning large, complex government Engineering, IT or Mission Support programs.
- Extensive experience as the lead technical architect on medium - large ($30M ) government procurements either responding to or evaluating.
- Demonstrated capability to articulate a solution across all stakeholders and leadership.
- Understand costs, schedule and level of effort associated with delivering a solution.
- Experience transitioning solution into written/oral proposal.
Job Skills:
- Ability to articulate technology issues in the context of Federal mandates and associated business risks.
- Comprehensive understanding of the industry, risks, regulations, and technology solutions.
- Ability to design and implement enterprise solutions for federal clients in line with agency strategy.
- Excellent critical thinking, win-strategy development, problem solving, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.
- Understands how to craft a compelling, compliant, comprehensive Tech Prop independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of technology methodologies, best practices, delivery models or frameworks relevant to individual's domain area expertise.
- Ability to build and work within high performance teams in a matrix-management environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
- Advanced Degree in related technical field of study is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
- Industry accredited certifications in the areas of Data, Advanced Analytics, AI/ML, Cyber Security, Cloud or related fields preferred
- This role requires the candidate to be United States Citizen.
Communication Skills:
- Solid ability to interface, inspire and motivate at various levels of the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive presence, and ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to solution offerings for and present to the customer.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
Travel:
- Willing to travel as needed to customer sites.
Environmental Requirements:
- Mainly sedentary; in an office environment.
- May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
- Flexible in working extended hours.
