We are looking for a talented Head of Design and Creative to drive creative direction and leadership across Unit21. The Head of Brand and Creative will be tasked with developing a cohesive and scalable identity to anchor our internal and external-facing mission and brand. The person in this role will work closely with our marketing, product, and content teams to strategize a branding plan and determine actionable initiatives. You build a high-performance creative and design team, providing guidance and thoughtful critiques, and contributing to their professional growth and success.

You will:
Develop, direct, and execute the creative vision and brand strategy for Unit21 and our subsidiaries across all channels, platforms, and collateral.
Partner with leadership, marketing, product, and content teams to create a roadmap to develop processes and supervise execution for brand development.
Lead large-scale creative projects from concept through delivery, managing resources, and directing high-quality creative output.
Uphold a high standard of excellence in brand design, providing guidance and final approval of imagery, colors, typography, and graphic design.
Own operational process for efficient execution of creative deliverables across platforms/properties.
Leverage outside partnerships with agencies and external resources to fill gaps on an as-needed basis.
Establish, allocate, and manage budget and financial expenditures.
Provide constructive feedback and helpful critiques to nurture creative growth.
What we're looking for:
5 years of experience, with a focus on brand strategy, design, or storytelling
Additional 2 years of experience in a people management function
Extensive experience leading brand and creative programs end to end
Execution mindset and experience working in a fast-paced, aspiring environment
A track record of creating compelling stories and innovative campaigns to reach business goals, as well as an aesthetic sense and design taste
Excellent organizational and cross-functional communication skills; experience working in a fully remote environment is a plus
Experience working with creative agencies and freelancers and managing them to deliver high-quality work
Advanced understanding of marketing metrics, and how to track, report, and influence them
