Monday-Friday; 7:30am-3:30pm
United Ability, located in the Oxmoor area of Birmingham, is a program that provides a variety of services to adults with disabilities. We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Community Integration Coach providing adults with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy various community activities. Collaborating with other team members, you will:
- Plan, develop and carry out educational group outings in a variety of community settings for adults with disabilities
- Plan collaborate and implement community volunteer opportunities
- Create curriculum and train adults with disabilities on a variety of skills
- Transport adults into the community and oversee safety
Applicant general qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid Red Cross certificate (will obtain on-site after employment)
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of motor vehicle screening
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
