Reports to: Director of Talent Acquisition
SUMMARY:
United Alloy is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator! In this new role, you will partner directly with all members of the Talent Acquisition team, candidates, HR, and hiring managers to facilitate and support all phases of the recruiting/hiring/preboarding process. This role will own the coordination, logistics, and scheduling of interviews for candidates while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. Talent Acquisition Coordinator will manage vendor relationships, contractor hiring, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for candidate scheduling, travel, and logistics throughout the recruitment process
- Schedule interviews, coordinate interview panels, and manage interview logistics for a seamless and captivating candidate experience.
- Prepare and distribute offer letters and other employment related communications.
- Manage preboarding tasks, including submitting candidates for background checks and drug screens in compliance with legal standards and company policy.
- Serve as point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process.
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate information.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of job postings on various platforms.
- Communicate effectively with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders to provide updates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Respond to candidate inquiries and provide information on the recruitment process.
- Implement and utilize recruitment software and tools to automate repetitive tasks such as interview scheduling, communication with candidates, and data management to improve overall efficiency.
- Assist with the coordination of recruitment events, job fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
- Take charge of vendor relationships, ensuring effective collaboration and service quality.
- Responsible for the hiring of temporary and contract workers.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2 years of previous experience in a recruiting coordination or administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
