Description

 

The United-Johnson Brothers Paramount Representative is responsible for executing all functions relating to selling, distribution, brand development, promotion and merchandising of United’s craft product portfolio in target accounts. The Representative will develop deep understanding of United-Johnson Brothers brands and working knowledge of the beer, wine, and non-alcoholic segments. The Representative will track and analyze retailer volume and distribution performance, and develop a strong partnership with target accounts and United sales team to ensure seamless communication. 

Qualifications


• Must be 21 years or older
• High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred
• Restaurant/Bar/Industry experience preferred
• CSW, CSS, or Cicerone certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license for applicable state
• Valid auto liability insurance for applicable state
• Ability to secure and maintain a State Alcohol Sales Permit in accordance with state laws

Responsibilities:

• Build and sustain business relationships with key accounts in a given geographic area for key brands
• Track sales/distribution and work with assigned accounts to achieve monthly and quarterly sales objectives
• Develop, merchandise, display and implement specific brand building programs in target accounts
• Ensure brands are advertised at the point of purchase
• Educate sales representatives and retailers on United’s wine, beer, and non-alcoholic portfolio
• Perform training seminars in accounts promoting a specific product line
• Work with the sales and marketing teams to yield greatest distribution and sales volume results
• Assist in brand special events
• Host events in accounts, festivals, events, etc.
• Receive programming from management to implement and design programs in accounts
• Organize consumer samplings
• Work some extended hours and weekends as needed
• Drive to all call points
• Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

• Able to maintain very high proficiency and job standards while working in a non-temperature controlled environment that includes exposure to heat, high humidity, and inclement weather

• Able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions:

• Must work some weekends and extended hours as needed
• Able to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Able to talk and hear, stand and walk, sit, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel
• Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs), with some overhead lifting required
• Able to frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Able to learn and maintain knowledge of company and products
• Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to judge distance
