We are seeking an Area Manager, with our shared values, to become a part of our team!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations of Agency offices for assigned region
- Manage all employees in assigned region
- Engage independent contractors as needed
- Evaluate employee performance based on key metrics and request performance-based bonuses/compensation increases for employees when warranted
- Handle employee disciplinary action in coordination with Human Resources
- Handle contract termination in coordination with Human Resources
- Ensure compliance with Agency policy and procedure
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable Health Care Privacy Law
- Ensure Clients’ authorized units are served according to Physician orders.
- Work closely with Case Managers to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner and that clinical care is being provided in the manner prescribed by the attending physician.
- Ensure the continued growth of the Agency
- Provide direction and support to office staff in order to maintain good morale
- Hold regular meetings with office staff
- Be a resource for management, case managers and office staff, provide direction and guidance
- Assist the corporate office, as needed.
- Assist the Company Owner, General Manager and Executive Team, as needed.
- Ensure that all Agency Representatives have the tools necessary to do the work assigned.
- Evaluate workloads, as necessary, to ensure that Agency workforces are not overloaded.
- Ensure that no decisions/documentation/materials/forms effecting the Agency are put in to practice before approval is given by the General Manager and Executive Team.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2 years of proven work experience in the home health care industry in a management or administrative position
- Possess strong management principle
- Applies high ethical standards
- Good organizational and time management skills to manage multiple employees.
- Good working knowledge of computer and internet-based applications along with other office machines as necessary to complete job
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Compassionate and caring individual
- Possess teamwork skills
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must maintain availability to assist staff when needed.
- Professional appearance mandatory
