Are you looking to join a fast-paced team that strives to deliver exceptional service to customers? The Agronomy Department is hiring a full time Agronomy Operations candidate! This position will be a hybrid role that runs the Norseland, MN agronomy location during the peak agronomy season and assists at other agronomy locations during the off-season.
Primary Objectives of the Position:
Increases sales of all products and services offered by United Farmers Cooperative.
Provides general accounting support with invoicing, purchase orders, inventory, and bank deposits, as well as customer service for patrons both on the phone and in-person.
Applies sound business principles in the management of the facility to ensure profitability.
Applies fertilizer and chemicals to customer’s fields at specific rates determined by Agronomy Operations manager or Account Manager.
Fills, applies and delivers anhydrous ammonia.
Communicates the strategic direction and needs of the company to vendors, the industry, employees and stockholders.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
2 years agronomy experience
Cooperative background desirable but not necessary.
Agricultural background helpful.
Mechanical aptitude helpful.
Class A CDL required or the ability to obtain license
Must be able to work 7 days a week during peak agronomy season
