Mortgage Business Intelligence and Systems Analyst

Responsible for creating intuitive business intelligence dashboards and reports, providing insights and direction to operations staff, sales and management throughout the mortgage loan life cycle. Set up daily oversight of mortgage key activities via suites, dashboards and visualizers. The BI Analyst will conduct database monitoring, modifications, and optimization for all groups.

The candidate will have an end-to-end understanding of the mortgage loan process and manage real time data and reports to satisfy the needs of the business. This includes system administration, integrations, testing, updates and maintenance of the Motivity Actionable Intelligence Platform (AIP) along with other Black Knight related products. Work with mortgage system administrators and mortgage systems to validate field mapping and LOS integration.

This position is expected to be hybrid. 

NYC Salary Range - $65,000 - $90,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do

• Own the data platform and create custom reports and dashboards to maximize the data availability, visibility and performance
• Partner with business leads to create and enhance dashboards in order to streamline workflows, build efficiencies and identify bottlenecks
• Responsible for regular system maintenance, configuration changes, reports and support issues
• Ongoing support of system set up, customizations and automation to accommodate LOS updates, business changes and processes
• Collaborate with System Administrators on a regular basis to review workflows and configurations to add efficiencies
• Work in POS and LOS to understand data mapping structures, run queries and analyze data for accuracy in the AIP environment

What we're seeking

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 5 years mortgage industry experience
• 3 years’ experience in Business Intelligence and Reports role or equivalent practical experience. 
• Familiarity with Loan origination to Loan Servicing mortgage processes
• Understanding of lending regulations (i.e. Regulations Z, B, and RESPA)
• Strong expertise in design specifications field mapping between systems
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, mortgage systems and integrations
• Proficiency with SQL and applicable mortgage software
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written and interpersonal skills
