There are many unique problems that come together under the umbrella of agriculture technology, and the ideal candidate has a passion for solving the most complicated real-world problems. The mission of our team is to provide the analytics and data to our customers via APIs that support their efficient use of resources as they grow crops to help feed our planet. However, each crop is different, and each farm is run a different way, so flexible modeling and good abstractions are required. The Associate will direct and manage Global Logistics, including inbound, outbound and reverse Logistics. This position will also manage tactical execution of order management and shipping activities.

What you will do

Order Management & Fulfillment

• Coordinate with Sales/Customer Success to make sure all customer orders are clean and shippable.
• “Drop” orders from Arable’s system to our 3PL so it can be shipped.
• Check inventory of all ordered parts before dropping orders. Escalate inventory issues to S&OP.
• Provide daily updates to an order tracker that is used to communicate with sales/customers.
• Escalate issues! Anything impacting customer delivery needs to be escalated and fixed within 24 hours.
• Constant contact with Sales and Customer Success teams to make sure our customers always have a positive experience working with Arable.
• Report KPIs and OKRs.

Logistics

Responsible for managing Arable’s outdoor testing facility at our 3PL. Coordinating with the 3PL Lab team and Distribution team are intense and on-going. 100% of our products are tested outdoors before shipping to customers.
Responsible for orchestrating all activities related to ensuring the consistent flow of goods and information from suppliers to end customers. This includes transportation management from origin to the distribution center, accurate and timely customs clearance, third-party distribution operations, outbound logistics, export procedures, and returns processing.
Negotiate all contracts with external logistics providers including the establishment of standard operating procedures and service level agreements.
Responsible for continuously assessing and anticipating internal and external risks such as capacity shortages, regulatory changes, and infrastructure, port, or carrier issues. Proactively develop plans to mitigate risk and ensure continuity of service.
Report KPIs and OKRs.
What you bring

• 5 years of Order Management and Logistics experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail, and a master spreadsheet user.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal charisma are essential.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
