Command Center Officer- Part Time

Job Summary: USI is seeking high level security officers for a corporate office complex. Job Duties may include command center, performing security patrols of designated areas by foot, observing for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards, maintaining access control of premises and monitoring entrances and exits. Security Officers provide high level of customer service and assistance to clients, client employees and visitors in a polite and professional manner.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 
  Must be proficient in computer skills and be able to multi-task

  Maintain knowledge of the location and the status of various security personnel.

• Provide situational awareness of issues occurring throughout the region through internet observation, news media reporting and establish inter-group communication with other support elements.
• Utilize geographic information systems to ascertain potential risk and incidents that occur in the vicinity of the company’s assets.
• Utilize SharePoint sites, Winteam, and Microsoft Office Suite programs to generate reports and access security related information and scheduling of assignments
• Make common sense decisions and exercise action during high tension and stressful situations.
• Conduct training of newly-placed peers in all duties of the job, provide training updates to supervisory staff as needed.
• Interact in a positive and professional manner with all employees, customers, consultants and vendors.
• Makes necessary changes to schedules in the event of unexpected absences.
• Conducts inspections of various security posts to ensure on-duty Security Officers are properly performing their assigned tasks
• Assists in the recommendation, development and implementation and enforcement of improvements to systems and procedures.
• Maintains close liaison with on-duty site supervisor

• Follow the USI Chain of Command
• To maintain all daily logs accurately and as required
• Respond to all emergency requests and situations as needed
• Complete reporting as necessary for incidents and activities that occur while on post
• Report all site issues to the appropriate facilities management personnel
• Report all serious incidents immediately to the USI Supervisor or Manager

• Participate in all required USI and Client Trainings and Meetings
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as warranted by the needs of the site, per USI and the Client
