Job Description
As an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the United States Performance Center you have the opportunity to coach, develop, instruct, and motivate the nations top talent by working with Olympic Athletes of various National Governing Bodies of sport. Strength coaches at the United States Performance Center will utilize the latest technology, scientific research, software, and equipment to support partnered teams in a data driven, performance oriented environment. Coaches are expected to work collaboratively with members of the high performance staff and provide coaching instruction and motivation during workouts to athletes on a daily basis.

Pre-requisites
- Bachelors degree in a Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field required
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) certification required
- Background in Sports & Athletics at the Collegiate or Professional level
- 3 years experience in strength & conditioning or sports performance training
- Availability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work with athletes regardless of age or training level
- Problem-solving capabilities using scientifically-based approaches.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in athletic performance assessments preferred
- Experience in workload monitoring preferred
- Long term intended candidates only; must be a team player that is reliable and committed to working in unity
Details of Job Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and instruct multiple athletes in the weight room and on the field
- Demonstrate and instruct athletes on proper technique and execution when performing various strength exercises, speed, agility, and plyometric drills
- Utilize new technology and scientific data to improve performance training methodologies
- Encourage athletes and motivate them to perform at their best
- Mentor strength and conditioning interns/ graduate assistants
- Consistently communicate with the entire Performance and Coaching Staff, providing accurate and current player-specific information related to player status, injuries, workload, body composition, programming, assessments and readiness.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,157.00 - $56,692.00 per year
