What are the responsibilities and job description for the SENATE DIVERSITY INITIATIVE AIDE position at United States Senate?
The Senate Diversity Initiative is seeking an aide to assist their efforts in recruiting talent and developing Senate staff who reflect the diversity of our nation and are demographically representative of the constituents they serve. Duties include: conducting interviews, assessments, and advising candidates for Senate employment; planning events for Senate interns, candidates and staffers; building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and staffers in Senate offices; updating and maintaining candidate database; building and maintaining relationships with off-Hill organizations, fellowship programs, school officials; and reviewing/correcting resumes, cover letters, and counseling candidates.
