What we’re looking for Education: High school diploma required; Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Logistics/ Science/ is desirable (or equivalent work experience) is required Experience: High school diploma or GED required (AA or higher degree preferred) 1 years’ experience in material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service Spill containment training, IATA, DOT, IMDG, and OSHA Right to Know a plus. Basic digital literacy such as Microsoft Word/Excel & Outlook Knowledge of scientific material and amenities is favorable. Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Proven time management, forecasting knowledge, and/or expediting experience. Ability to work independently to prioritize multiple competing tasks. Proficiency with MS Office suite Strong problem solving & analytical skills. How you will thrive and create an impact Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will: Maintain records of cleaning events per established laboratory procedures. To handle and implement a glassware maintenance per site requirements and procedural documents. Hand wash, rinse and dry all glassware and other items as assigned. Some items will need to be washed in a base bath. To perform a quality check and inspection of all glassware for damages and cleanliness. Provide gas ordering services to the department weekly by determining the need. Provide safety inspections for the department monthly on all safety stations and maintain records per established laboratory procedures.
