Job Information
Our growing company in the Jennings, LA area is searching for a Field Service Technician to join the team.
Position Overview
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to, the installation and maintenance of all field devices maintained by the company; including but not limited to network communication hardware, IP phones, and camera systems.
Must pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must be capable of working indoors / outdoors.
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
2 Years of practical experience in Access Control/CCTV Installation, low voltage Cat5, and Cat6 voice and data cabling experience.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds, work from heights above 10 feet and work in confined areas.
Cat5 / Cat 6 – Ability to run/punch down / test cable / troubleshot/terminate
Camera Systems – DVR Setup / Network Configuration / Mobile App installation
Low Voltage Commercial cabling experience (Pathways, Terminating/Testing); Or Telecommunications; Or Alarm/Camera experience
Network device install / Commercial Data Installation experience w/ programming and/or troubleshooting
Install cameras, speakers, displays, access points, server racks, phone, and network hardware.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
