The Tableau Certified Data Analyst Trainer for United Training is responsible for providing quality training on Tableau and other software applications. This position is for a technical teacher delivering high level end-user classes to adult students. Tableau materials and content provided by United Training. This position to requires the Tableau Data Analyst certification. It is for an organized, fast learner who thrives on expanding their knowledge with new skills every day.
Certification Tableau Data Analyst Trainer
This position combines the knowledge of database analysis and design experience with being able to deliver classes in Tableau; Tableau Desktop I, Desktop II, Accelerated, Tableau Visual Analytics, Tableau Perp and others This candidate will design and development content for the classroom while teaching adult students. The position is for a teacher delivering high level end-user classes to adult students utilizing training materials and tools provided by United Training. This organized, fast learner thrives on expanding their knowledge with new skills and delivering quality classes.
Specific responsibilities include:
Prepare for each class and deliver in-person and virtual training with Tableau using quality presentation skills
Leads multiple classes using various meeting platforms.
Communicates effectively with business lines and various technology groups.
Facilitates webinars and of functional and non-functional requirements with development teams and business lines.
Ability to work with various technical platforms for virtual delivery, Zoom, Teams, GoToWebinar, and Adobe Connect
Work with sales and the customer to create custom training solutions.
Advise the sales and marketing departments as a subject matter expert, SME
Travel to client sites and other United Training locations to deliver training
Develop and expand knowledge base and obtain certifications as needed
Basic Qualifications
Certified Tableau Data Analyst
Advanced level with the Microsoft Office software:
Office 365 – all applications and collaborative tools
Power BI experience or training
Comfortable with public speaking in front of large groups of people
Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation skills customer service agility
Ability to transport laptops
Experience with teaching, public-speaking or training
Flexibility to work non-standard business hours or weekends if needed
Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and learn technical information quickly
Seeing and visual capability: ability to see screens, monitors, and environment
A valid Driver’s license, vehicle and ability to travel
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in education, or computer science preferred.
Previous teaching, computer and software experience preferred.
