Job Title: Community Impact Director
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Department: Exempt or Non Exempt:
Community Impact Exempt
Purpose:
To provide vision, leadership, and administrative experience to a complex set of community and organizational relationships and opportunities. With minimal supervision and a high level of personal initiative and autonomy, responsible for management of the Community Investment Strategies, including development and management of the allocations process, community initiatives and special initiatives.

This candidate will demonstrate an advanced ability to think strategically about the unique role, approaches, and contributions of United Way. The Community Impact Director, provides key leadership in the development and implementation of United Way’s business/organizational strategy overall, implementing our internal programs, and creating effective community impact response to critical community needs. They will have the ability to thrive and lead in a dynamic organization that operates in a highly complex and changing community environment. The Community Impact Director will apply leadership-level expertise and abilities to the following responsibilities:
