Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide coding and abstraction of physician or professional records
Provide communications to Coordinator, Supervisors and Managers
Complete RAI's, denials, charge hold reports, and coding edits
Assist on special coding projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Professional coder certification with credentialing from AHIMA and/or AAPC (ROCC, CPC, COC, CPC-P, CCS) to be maintained annually
1 years of production coding experience with both quality and productivity requirements
Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel and MS office products
Preferred Qualifications:
Lead Coder or supervisory experience
Soft Skills:
Good communication skills
