The Project Manager supports Director of Project Management and Clinic Operations by providing professional assistance, project management, recommendations based on analytics and business input, and performs operational management work covering a broad range of activities. This position is responsible for providing Subject Matter Expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques. The position is also responsible for providing project coordination across multiple businesses units, analytical assessment of business problems, monitoring organizational performance, and identification of risk to operational plans. Develops various ad hoc reports and status updates to support initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborates on cross-functional project team direction, resolves problems, and provides guidance and direction to team members; Partners with departmental leadership and staff to identify/define performance planning measures, tracking, and reporting objectives
- Assists in the development of project team and organizational objectives and goals
- Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems; solves complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analysis; translates concepts into practice
- Utilizes proven methodologies in project and change management to support corporate leadership initiatives
- Leads and guides cross-functional and segment teams through project implementation with competing agendas and priorities, forecasting/mitigating project risks, provide updates on project progress and issue resolution efforts, and manages work stream communications to ensure response integrity
- Maintains project and process knowledge bank to support best practice identification and implementation
- Develops performance, project status, meeting correspondence and ad hoc reports for consumption by various levels of management
- Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or a related field (4 additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)
- 3 years experience with full life cycle project management
- PMP Certification completed, or committing to achieving certification within 24 months of date of hire
- Proven ability to successfully conceptualize an initiative, develop a plan and execute upon it
- Proven ability to successfully communicate and interact one-on-one with individuals ranging from peers to executive management
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate & lead group meetings consisting of individuals at all levels of the enterprise including executive management
- Demonstrated ability to apply analytical/statistical skills used in evaluating data
- Proven ability to create, sustain, and edit project schedules using a prescribed software or application
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote and Visio
- Hybrid role - willing to be based in Corpus Christi, TX ( 2 days remote and 3 days in the office)
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification
- Healthcare industry experience
- Clinical operation experience
- Smart sheets experience
- Basic understanding of concepts and practices of Six Sigma and Change Management
