Quality Business Analyst is responsible for leading all analytics and data driven solutions by understanding and interpreting complex programs, initiatives, and data through the employment of advanced analytics techniques, business requirements gathering, project management techniques, business systems analysis, and reporting using a variety of reporting platforms, systems, sources, and data formats.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the efforts to gather business requirements for the design, development, and enhancement of analytics, reporting, and data driven solutions for select Quality programs
Development of standardized business processes to identify, document, and deliver on analytical and data driven solutions
Develop and maintain knowledge of key performance indicators related to Quality including but not limited to CMS Stars, HEDIS, etc., as well as working knowledge of specific healthcare coverage plans including but not limited to MSSP, DSNP, Medicare Advantage, etc.
Supervise the development and progress of all investigative analytics and ad hoc requests both within the Quality team and in collaboration with other business units and technical teams
Partner with Quality leadership and associated business units to provide business insights, information, projections, and recommendations
Develop methods to support the access, storage, and reporting of data sets that support project initiatives
Effectively visualize and communicate the risks, insights, patterns, and trends from complex and disparate reports and sources, and provide recommendations based on subject matter expertise
Develop and conduct quality control audits and test requirements to ensure accuracy of data and expected outcomes of programs and projects
Identify, correct, and/or assist in resolution of project and program risks
Collaborate directly with internal and external business units to identify opportunities to enhance program outcomes
Perform data scrubbing, troubleshooting, quality checking, and usability analysis to identify anomalies which need to be addressed prior to delivery of program and initiative results

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
3 years of experience in healthcare industry
One of these areas in healthcare industry; direct or indirect work with public health certificate/coursework, claims management systems, EMR platforms, healthcare regulations, Quality MA/HHS, project management, data visualization, or other clinical related background
Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
1 years background in healthcare industry and managed care
Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft SQL programming language (preferred)
Intermediate to Advanced skill level with business intelligence platforms (PowerBI, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Tableau, MS Access etc.
