This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9am - 5pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 3535 Piedmont Road, Atlanta, GA Suite 600 (Building 14).
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processes State and Federal applications for Medicaid and submits to appropriate agencies. Scans to internal
- system for record keeping.
- Documents and updates internal database based on daily work items in accordance with application processing
- activities and verification submission.
- Ensures that internal database has appropriate information in the correct fields for application submission,
- agency assigned, correct status.
- Identifies and takes appropriate actions to complete and submit required financial, medical, and personal
- information forms to support the client application process.
- Reviews outgoing client material for accuracy prior to submittal. Alerts appropriate team member if items are missing or incomplete.
- Complies with ethics, privacy and compliance policies and procedures
- Responsible for mail correspondence and logging important information and documents
- Responsible for all mail in relation to resolution activities. Utilizes internal software to scan and assign to
- individual user.
- Works internal inbox from MS Teams and Outlook to mail documents and identify and upload applicants’
- evidence to internal database and send appropriate agency/ internal user.
- Used FedEx software to submit priority items for tracking of signatures.
- Submit applications and verifications utilizing the GA and Florida application websites.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma / GED (or higher)
- 6 months of Previous experience with filing, data entry and general administrative tasks, including copying and scanning
- 6 months of Previous customer service experience preferably in an office or medical environment
- Computer skills, including word processing Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Medicaid or SSI
