In this role, it is all about creativity, challenge, and complexity. This position is responsible for researching, evaluating, developing, and investigating key business problems through quantitative analyses of healthcare utilization, cost data, and quality metrics with a specific focus on Value Based Programs (VBP). 

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Run Ad-hoc queries as requested
• Report and track all Value Based Program contracts and related projects
• Asset in development of VBP methodologies
• Pull data from various databases for reporting needs
• Support all business entities involved with VBP
• Lead meetings and/or participate in group discussions

Required Qualifications:    

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of analytical experience in actuarial, financial analysis, health care pricing, health care economics or related discipline
• 1 years of experience performing financial impact modeling and analysis, risk management, or data manipulation
• Proficiency in data querying with SAS or SQL
• Knowledge on how to functionally use Microsoft Office products (Excel/VB/Word/PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Graduate degree
• 1 years of experience with healthcare products (Knowledge of Optum's BH/Medical/Pharmacy claims desired)
