The Regional Dean of Allied Health will provide leadership and oversight for academic programs in a designated region. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality academic programs and the achievement of student success. The Regional Dean of Allied Health will work closely with faculty, staff, and leadership teams to implement and promote best practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
This position is hybrid covering campuses in CA, NV and UT. An ideal candidate will be comfortable with frequent travel between all campuses, come from an Allied Health background, and live or be willing to move to either CA or close proximity to one of the campuses in the territory of responsibility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight for academic programs in a designated region.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality academic programs and the achievement of student success.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement curriculum, instruction, and assessment that aligns with institutional goals and student learning outcomes.
- Monitor student success and academic progress and implement strategies to improve retention and graduation rates.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as admissions and student services, to ensure that student needs are met.
- Achieve key metrics related to first-term success rates, student retention, and graduation rates.
- Monitor key metrics related to academic program success and adjust strategies as needed to achieve institutional goals.
- Work with faculty and staff to ensure that academic programs meet accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as admissions and student services, to ensure that student needs are met.
- Provide leadership and support for faculty development and professional growth.
- Collaborate with institutional leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for academic programs.
- Participate in institutional committees and task forces to represent academic programs and provide input on institutional policies and decisions.
The regional dean of allied health, who is a member of the national dean's senior staff, has the responsibility of managing and evaluating academic programs and managers in allied health. This is achieved by implementing data-driven decision-making and adhering to accreditation standards. The role actively promotes the company's mission, vision, and values and ensures that employees incorporate these core beliefs and values in their work activities. Although the regional dean may be assigned to a specific region of Unitek Learning schools, they may also function across areas and schools beyond their initial assignment as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- At least five years of experience in higher education academic administration.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and institutional leadership.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- Understanding of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with faculty development and professional growth.
- Demonstrated commitment to student success and achievement.

Salary Range $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 Annual
