Education: High School education or its equivalent is required. Training and Experience: Must have three years working experience in accredited hospital and/or nursing home. Should have knowledge of methods and procedures for procuring supplies, use of vendors’ catalogs, office files, and some knowledge of receiving. Experience with computer, typing, and 10-key calculator. Job Knowledge: Must know general hospital regulations and reporting requirements as obtained through one year of on-the-job training. Responsible for the procurement of all OR supplies, both stock and non-stock. Be familiar with all materials containing product information and sources of supply. Responsible for checking back order, checking stock levels, and monitoring utilization.
