Responsibilities:
Our hospital client is seeking a full-time, ABR board-certified medical physicist in Radiation Oncology.
This position will contribute to clinical physics activities with primary appointment at McGlinn Cancer Institute.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in radiation oncology physics, with preferred proficiency on TrueBeam and Halcyon/Ethos platforms.
Hospital boasts 3 linear accelerators, with a 4th vault currently under construction, and robust SRS, SBRT, MR-guided online adaptive, and HDR programs.
The successful candidate will join a team of two physicists, four dosimetrists, and one service engineer.
Linacs include the MRIdian, Trilogy, and IX, with an Ethos to be installed and an Edge in the pipeline to replace the Trilogy.
Other equipment/ software used include ARIA/Eclipse 15.6, Bravos HDR, Somatom CT-Sim, BrainLAB ExacTrac, cylindrical 3D scanner, IC Profiler, Modus MR motion phantom, Portal Dosimetry, IQM, Clear Check, AI Contouring, and Mobius3D.
Physicists are heavily involved in advanced clinical procedures, so candidates should have exceptional communication skills and expect to perform in a collaborative environment.
